About

I am a practicing architect, PhD, researcher and a European Commission Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions Fellow at KTH School of Architecture, Stockholm. I am also the founder of Campo Ruiz Architect, LessWasteArchitecture and #whylesswaste.

I earned an International PhD in Advanced Architectural Projects from the Madrid Polytechnic University UPM, Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid ETSAM, Spain. My work has been awarded the William Kinne Fellowship from Columbia University and two Caja Madrid Foundation Fellowships.

I received a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design and I graduated from the Advanced Architectural Research Program, both at Columbia University, Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation, GSAPP, New York. I studied architecture at Madrid Polytechnic University and the Copenhagen School of Architecture.

My doctoral thesis 'Lewerentz in Malmö. Intersections between Architecture and Landscape' has been dowloaded over 1,600 times. My work has been featured on ABC newspaper and exhibited at the Torino World Design Festival, Museum of Costumes of Madrid, and ExpoEtsam Madrid.
